Elementary Curriculum

Elementary

A team of over 20 elementary teachers across the district has been piloting two ES English Language Arts Curriculum options over the course of the 2021-2022 school year. Both options take a systematic approach to teaching foundational skills and phonics, and are designed to build knowledge and vocabulary through content-based units. A recommendation will be made to the board in June 2022, and teachers and students will begin to use the new resource at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year.
