You are invited to attend a community forum to provide your input regarding our superintendent search.
The Mount Vernon School District Board of Directors is beginning its search for the next superintendent and is looking to lead a transparent process with all partners and stakeholders. Input from our community partners will help us shape the profile of what we are looking for in our next superintendent. You are invited to attend a community forum with the Northwest Leadership Associates on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 6pm. This will take place at Madison Elementary School, 907 E. Fir Street. This is an opportunity to provide input and to participate in the process.
The purpose is to address three questions:
1. What is positive about the MVSD?
2. What are the challenges for a new Superintendent in the MVSD?
3. What attributes/qualities would you like to see in a new superintendent?
There will be additional opportunities to participate in the process in the future, including a survey and interview forums. In the meantime, we hope you will join us next Thursday. The Mount Vernon School District Board of Directors invites you to give your input by completing the MVSD Superintendent Profile survey. The survey aims to gather information and feedback on what is desired for the next superintendent of Mount Vernon School District. The survey should take no longer than five minutes to complete.
Your feedback will directly influence the criteria the board uses to evaluate candidates.
