Spring Assessment Week May 1st-5th

Spring Assessments

Washington state requires all districts to administer the Smarter Balanced assessments each spring. These tests help teachers, schools, and districts identify which students need more support and measure how well students meet College and Career Readiness Standards.

  • State Assessment Week is Monday, May 1st - Friday, May 5th
  • Regular onsite classes will be canceled for the week.
  • At-home work for grades K-2 will be assigned for the week.
  • There will be no at-home work for grades 3-12 during the assessment week.
  • Students can bring their own snacks & water.
  • Students should bring wired headphones (blue tooth earbuds are not allowed).

  2. Tues, May 2, 12:30pm, ELA PT
  3. Wed, May 3, 12:30pm, Math PT

AC 7-12:

  1. Tues, May 2, 9:00am, ELA & Math CAT
  2. Wed, May 3, 9:00am, ELA PT
  3. Fri, May 5, 9:00am, Math PT

Students in grades 5, 8 and 11 (Science State Assessment):

  • Thu, May 4, 9:00am, WCAS
