Internship Program for Students

Mount Vernon's Student Internship Program connects high school juniors and seniors with real-world workplace experience in fields they're considering for college and career. Internships are coordinated through Mount Vernon High School in partnership with local employers across Skagit County.

Internships give students a chance to:

• Test a career path in healthcare, technology, business, manufacturing, public service, or the trades before committing to a college major
• Build a professional network of mentors who can speak to their skills and character
• Earn high school credit for workplace learning, where the internship aligns with a course or pathway
• Add a meaningful entry to college and scholarship applications
