Tea with Dr. V
This month’s Tea with Dr. V has us talking with Administrator, Eric Monson. Eric gives us an update on the work that has been done regarding the district's emergency preparedness. Eric also works with building principals to plan and schedule critical drills throughout the year. This important exercise helps prepare our students and staff, and gives them an opportunity to practice their school’s emergency plans. I had an opportunity to be at Centennial Elementary school during their last evacuation drill. The entire school knew exactly what to do. El Té con el Dr. V de este mes nos tiene hablando con el administrador, Eric Monson. Eric nos da una actualización sobre el trabajo que se ha hecho con respecto a la preparación para emergencias del distrito. Eric también trabaja con los directores de los edificios para planificar y programar simulacros críticos durante todo el año. Este importante ejercicio ayuda a preparar a nuestros estudiantes y personal, y les brinda la oportunidad de practicar los planes de emergencia de su escuela. Tuve la oportunidad de estar en la escuela primaria Centennial durante su último simulacro de evacuación. Toda la escuela sabía exactamente qué hacer. ¡Excelente trabajo personal y estudiantes!
