Biography

Ms. Audette graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor degree in business. She attended the University of Washington graduate school, and then graduated from Western Washington University with a master degree in teaching.  Over the years she has completed many trainings and workshops and classes to enhance her teaching skills. She has previously taught Web & Graphic Design, Business English and Math, Legal & Medical Transcription, Office Procedures, and Keyboarding and Digital Communications.She has also been in charge of the Work Experience & Office Assistant programs. She has been part of the after school Gear Up program tutoring students.

Ms. Audette has been a Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) adviser for the past 30+ years.  Being the FBLA adviser she has had the pleasure of traveling with many students to conferences in: Oregon, California, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Utah, Tennessee, Texas, and Georgia where students have competed at the national level.  Way back when she even coached the girls swim team and was in charge of girls intramurals.  She has lead student backpacking trips, and even traveled  to Italy with students.  For the past 25 years she has owned Big Rock Grocery, now Big Rock Cafe.  It has been a family business that her sons have now taken over.
