Categorical and State Programs
Welcome to the Mount Vernon School District #320 Categorical and State Programs pages. Our mission is to support teachers and administrators and to collaborate with parents and community members to optimize student learning. We manage the grants and budgets for Title I and the State equivalent, Learning Assistance Program (LAP). We also manage the grants and budgets for the Migrant and Bilingual programs, Title IC, State Transitional Bilingual Programs, and Title III for Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient Students. We also help coordinate the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.
