About Family Access

Family Access is a web-based information system that provides students and families with the ability to
view a variety of student information such as attendance, report card grades, discipline information,
food service balance, and to update emergency contacts and complete forms. Families of middle school
and high school students will be able to see classroom assignments and current class grades. Teachers
are able to use Family Access to send messages to an entire class or to an individual student. Staff emails
are provided through Family Access for your convenience.

In support of the Mount Vernon Schools 100% Graduation Goal, we hope that you will find Family
Access to be a valuable source of information and a convenient communication tool between your
family and your child’s school and classroom(s).

Passwords

To create or reset your Family Access password, use the Forgot Your Password link on the Family Access
log in page. This process will require that you have an email address in Skyward. The link to the Family
Access log in page is below.

Family Access

If you need to update your email address to create or reset your password, or if you have any other
problems with your account, please contact your school office. You can also contact Anna Hoxie in the
