CERTIFICATED Substitutes
The Mount Vernon School District invites applicants to become a member of the substitute teaching core. An application packet for substitute teaching may be obtained by contacting the District Office at (360) 428-6110.
Substitute teacher applicants must complete the following: 1) District Certificated Application 2) Transcripts (copies accepted) 3) Statement of Philosophy of Education (short paragraph) 4) Teacher Placement File 5) Resume 6) Verification of background check 7) Valid Washington State Teacher Certificate 8) Employee Immunization Form

Instructional Assistant: (Classroom, Special Education, Playground/Bus Duty, Library)
Custodian
Food Service Worker
Clerical Bus Driver
The Substitute Classified Application Packet may be obtained by calling (360) 428-6110 or stopping in the District Office. Application packets include fingerprinting information.
Effective June 10, 2004 all substitute applicants must complete the Washington State Sexual Disclosure Form. This form must be on file prior to substitute applicants being eligible to work in the Mount Vernon School District.
