Mount Vernon School District serves 5,700 students in six elementary schools (Kindergarten-Grade 6), two middle schools (Grades 7-8), and a comprehensive high school (Grades 9-12). Our dedicated certificated staff of 375 teachers and administrators average 13+ years of experience, with over half credentialed with advanced degrees. In addition, 360 support staff provide essential service to the successful functioning of the District and its programs.
