Background Check
New employees must complete an Employment Eligibility Form (I-9) presenting proper documentation with employment status contingent upon completion. Employment is on a conditional basis pending completion and clearance of a State and National Background check with the fee to be paid by the applicant. Effective January 2007, the fingerprinting process has been revised. Please check this link for complete information. Fingerprint Process **NEW - Effective June 10, 2004: All applicants interested in Certificated or Classified vacancies in the Mount Vernon School District must complete and return the Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release Form prior to being considered for vacancy positions per Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 5533.
