Dr Suess Literacy Event
March 12, 2010, 6:00-7:30
Movie Night!
Fri. March 19, doors open at 6:30pm, movie starts at 7pm. Free admission. Popcorn, candy & water will be sold for 0.50 a ticket (sold at the door). Wear your pajamas and bring a blanket, sleeping bag and pillow! (Movie to be announced at a later date) Sponsored by the PTC.

Recycling Fundraiser:
The PTC will be collecting any used or broken cell phones, inkject printer cartridges, handheld electronic devices such as MP3 players, Nintendo DS, scrap metal jewelry, digital cameras, digital video cameras, laptops, netbooks, GPS devices, radar detectors and Kindle or Sony Book readers. A collection bin will be placed in the lobby of the school and will be collected on a continual basis for the rest of the school year. A great time to bring donations is during student conferences during the week of March 24, 25, & 26. Fliers with more details will go home with the students shortly. The 6th grade will be having a garage sale on March 24th and 25th. This is a fundraiser to help send kids to Camp Orkila.
We are looking for items that will sell well and raise the most money. Unfortunately, we cannot accept electronics. We would appreciate any gently used items that you'd be willing to donate.
We (the 6th grade team) will be set up to begin accepting donations on March 5th. If you have any questions... please feel free to ask a 6th grade teacher.
